About the course

The Psychosocial Counsellor Training offered by People Development Lab (PDL) is a comprehensive 780-hour-long training program affiliated with the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) [ Approval Certificate Number: ५-१ (०७८/०७९)]. This program is designed to prepare participants to work as skilled psychosocial counselors in schools, communities, and organizations, delivering effective interventions and psychosocial support.

By completing this training, participants will be well-prepared to contribute to mental health and psychosocial well-being in various settings.

पिपल डेभलपमेन्ट ल्याब (PDL) द्वारा आयोजित मनोसामाजिक परामर्शदाता तालिम पिपल डेभलपमेन्ट ल्याब (PDL) ले प्रदान गर्ने मनोसामाजिक परामर्शदाता तालिम एक ७८० घण्टाको विस्तृत तालिम कार्यक्रम हो, जुन प्राविधिक शिक्षा तथा व्यावसायिक तालिम परिषद् (CTEVT) संग सम्बन्धित छ। स्वीकृति पत्र संख्या: ५-१ (०७८/०७९) यो तालिमले विद्यालय, समुदाय र संस्थाहरूमा मनोसामाजिक परामर्शदाता रूपमा काम गर्न सक्ने दक्ष व्यक्तिहरूको तयारी गराउँछ।

यो तालिम पूरा गरेपछि सहभागीहरूले विभिन्न क्षेत्रमा मानसिक स्वास्थ्य र मनोसामाजिक सुस्वास्थ्यका लागि प्रभावकारी योगदान दिन सक्नेछन्।

1. Foundation on Mental Health Disorders: Understanding various mental health conditions and their implications.

2. Therapies and Techniques: Learning evidence-based therapeutic approaches and techniques for counseling. Community-Based Interventions: Developing strategies to work with diverse populations at the community level.

3. Psychosocial First Aid: Acquiring skills to provide immediate support during crises and emergencies.

4. Training of Trainers (ToT): Equipping participants to train others in psychosocial counseling and support.

1. मनोस्वास्थ्य विकारहरूको आधारभूत ज्ञान: विभिन्न मानसिक स्वास्थ्य अवस्थाहरूको अध्ययन र बुझाइ।

2. थेरापी र प्रविधिहरू: प्रमाण-आधारित थेराप्युटिक विधिहरू र परामर्श प्रविधिहरूको अध्ययन।

3. समुदायमा आधारित हस्तक्षेप: विविध जनसंख्यामा काम गर्ने रणनीतिहरूको विकास।

4. मनोसामाजिक प्राथमिक सहायता: आपतकालीन अवस्थामा तत्काल सहयोग प्रदान गर्ने क्षमता।

5. प्रशिक्षकको प्रशिक्षण (ToT): मनोसामाजिक परामर्श र सहयोगको क्षेत्रमा अन्यलाई प्रशिक्षित गर्न सक्ने क्षमता विकास।

Course fee

1. Total Fee: NRS 45000 which you can pay in 3 installments.

   * You get Rs 5000 discount if you pay at once at the beginning

   * Registration fee: Nrs 2500 (This will be added to the total fee later)

   * There is a provision of group discounts.

Training Mode: Online Teaching and Inperson Skill training and Testing

   2. Recording of the classes can be accessed through LMS for life time

   3. Life time access of reading materials

   4. Mandatory inperson training every month at Thimi, Bhaktapur

   5. Inperson classes can be arranged in your town if you have more than 10 person from your town
